Seattle Music Partners (SMP) is a nonprofit that cultivates a diverse and vibrant music-making community by eliminating economic barriers to quality music expression and experiences, particularly for children. SMP’s programs match skilled volunteer tutors, one-on-one, with students who wish to learn to play music, and further engage students through ensemble experience.

SMP is seeking a full-time Executive Director. SMP is an established and respected community organization, with 4 full-time staff, 10 part-time teaching artists, more than 100 volunteer tutors, and an annual budget of over $400,000.

The ideal Executive Director must share SMP’s commitment to the core goals of excellence and equity in music education, particularly for students from less-affluent families and students of color who are consistently underrepresented in our region’s top music programs.

Please apply by April 27, 2018. To learn more about this opportunity, visit www.iexaminer.org/classifieds.
