According to a recent United Way survey, the International Examiner was the most-read non-daily publication among Asian Americans in the Pacific Northwest. With over 400,000 Asian-Pacific Islanders living in the Greater Seattle area, APIs are the largest minority ethnic group.

Public and private entities use the IE to:

Classified Rates

PRINT: Print Classifieds are neatly formatted and checked for accuracy. $8 per line in our column inch (2.375″), $13 per bold line, $15 for logos or boxes. Send listings via email to [email protected]. We will send back a quote and copy to proof within 72 hours.
ONLINE: Online Classifieds are $175-$300, depending on the length.  Online classifieds appear permanently as an individual web post on our website at www.iexaminer.org/classifieds for one month. It will also appear permanently as an individual web post in our community section. The link to the online classified’s web post will also appear on the International Examiner’s social media feeds (Facebook, Twitter).

Community Resource Directory

Become part of our Community Resource Directory! Designed specifically for nonprofits, the CRD provides a valuable list of professional, arts, government, health, advocacy, and social service organizations in the Greater Seattle area for over 20,000 readers. Your organization’s listing will run in each print issue, as well as appearing online at iexaminer.org/community-resource-directory. Print Display Production Requirements

All artwork must be submitted digitally to the International Examiner by the Thursday before publication. Files should be submitted in .pdf, .jpeg, or .tiff format with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch, grayscale if black-and-white.
DEADLINES: The deadline for ad space reservation is the Tuesday of the week before publication. Ad artwork is due the Thursday of the week before publication. Deadlines are subject to change; advertisers will be informed a week before a changed deadline.
REDUCTION/ENLARGEMENT: Ads should be built to exact dimensions. Ads that do not meet size specifications will have a surcharge of $25 to cover enlargement or reduction.
CANCELLATIONS: Advertisers must notify us of cancellations by 5 p.m. the Thursday before publication. Cancellations after are subject to a charge of 50% of the ad’s value.
LATE CHARGES: A fee of 5% of the ad’s value will be billed for materials that arrive past scheduled materials deadline. A $20 fee will be charged for changes made to classified ads 48 hour or less before issue is released.
BILLING & PAYMENT: Prepayment for new accounts is required until credit is established. Payment is due upon receipt. Past due accounts will be charged 18% per annum after 30 days.
PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS: The International Examiner is printed on 30# newsprint with an 85 lines per inch screen. Page Size: 11.375″w x 14″h (standard tabloid size), Printable Area: 10″w x 12.75″h.
