The Sisterhood of Pi Nu Iota and the Filipino Community of Seattle presents “Literacy Jamboree 2019: You’re a S.T.A.R.”!
All elementary school-aged students and their families are invited to a free, fun-filled afternoon focused on reading, space, and STARs (Search, Teach, Act, Read). Books, activities, light refreshments, and raffle prizes will be included.
Literacy Jamboree is the Sisterhood’s annual philanthropic event aimed at promoting children’s literacy. We hope that these events inspire children to read, increasing children’s literacy and giving them a chance to maximize their potential.
