
Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) Seattle will be hosting their third AAJA Seattle Chef Showcase at the Columbia Tower Club at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. The event’s proceeds support scholarships for AAJA students and members and also go toward professional development programs.
The tickets are $25 for AAJA members (limit one per person) and $40 for general admission. It will be $50 at the door if not purchased in advance.
This year, the featured chefs include Lisa Nakamura of Gnocchi Bar, Garrett Doherty of Kraken Congee, Jutamas Kwan Kanjanamai of Noi Thai, and Kenneth Lee of Lionhead. Drinks will be provided by Tranche Cellars and Fremont Brewing.
