Seattle City Light will be shutting off power this Saturday, November 23 beginning at 10:00 p.m. for a section of the Chinatown-International District. The city said the outage is scheduled to last up to eight hours and is necessary so that crews can safely supply power to the First Hill Streetcar maintenance yard. Affected customers have been previously notified. The general boundaries for the outage are:

• South Lane Street on the north
• South Dearborn Street on the south
• 8th Avenue South on the east
• 7th Avenue South on the west

Streetlights and traffic lights will be affected in the area. Police officers will be stationed at the traffic lights to maintain safe travel.
