Police are still searching for the man who reportedly attacked another man with a machete on May 8 in Seattle’s International District.

The victim, a 62-year-old man, was bleeding from wounds to the shoulder and abdomen when officers and medics arrived at the scene near 7th Ave and S Main St.

The victim refused to provide any information about the attack and was taken to Harborview Medical Center to treat his injuries, according to a police report.

Witnesses described the attacker as a black male, 6-feet-2-inches tall, short hair and clean shaven, wearing a long sleeved beige shirt and dark pants.

The machete was described as having a silver blade with a decorative red handle.

The attacker fled the scene on foot, reportedly heading east toward I-5 from Kobe Terrace Park. Officers searched the area using a K-9 dog but were unable to find the suspect.
