On Thursday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m., Radical Women‘s branch in Seattle will be hosting an event to give the community a sense of how you can get involved in activism to liberate women around the world. It will take place in New Freeway Hall (5018 Rainier Ave. S. Seattle).
Radical Women is an organization dedicated to fighting against racism, sexism, homophobia and labor exploitation. It believe in multi-issue organizing around the needs of the oppressed. Radical Women participated heavily in the explosive anti-Vietnam War mobilization and has opposed subsequent imperialist wars, interventions and occupations. It trains women to be leaders in the movements for social and economic justice.
