For nearly 30 years, Kin On has provided culturally appropriate nursing care and support services in the community. Kin On’s latest efforts involve embarking on a two-year expansion project to create an aging-friendly Kin On campus.

The completion of the two-year expansion will bring the following:

• Healthy Aging Community Center—A 2600 square-foot multipurpose space for conducting exercise classes, health workshops, and other healthy aging activities.

• Assisted Living Facility and Adult Family Home—Two types of affordable senior housing with amenities and services tailored to the residents’ needs.

• Short-Term Rehab Wing and Sun Room—Increased capacity to enable more patients to rehabilitate and transition back home.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Friday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Kin On Health Care Center (4416 S. Brandon St. Seattle, WA 98118). The program includes a keynote by former Governor and U.S. Ambassador and Capital Campaign Honorary Chair Gary Locke and guided facility tours. The event is free and light refreshment will be provided. Parking is limited, carpooling is highly encouraged. To RSVP, contact Heidi Wong at 206.721.3630 or [email protected].
