International District Emergency Center is sponsoring three free first aid training classes during the month of June for residents, business owners, employees, and volunteers who live or work in the Chinatown, Japantown, and Little Saigon areas.
All-day classes include a thirty minute lunch break. Sack lunches are recommended. Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a 2-year certification. Class dates are:
Sunday, August 5, 2018, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM @ Wing Luke Museum (719 South King Street) Saturday,
August 11, 2018, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM @ Nisei Veteran’s Memorial Hall/Lower Level (1212 South King Street) Free parking at this location on the east side of building
Thursday, August 16, 2018, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM @ Nihon Machi Terrace Community Room (651 South Main Street)
Class size is limited; preregistration is required and closes 7 days prior to the class date. Classes attracting fewer than four participants will be cancelled, with notifications sent for any cancellation.
