On Saturday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m., Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church will present a talk by peace activist and author Dr. James Yamazaki at Blaine Memorial UMC, 3001 24th Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98144 in the Webb Room.

Dr. Yamazaki was lead physician on the U.S. Atomic Bomb Medical Team studying the effects of nuclear bombing on children in Nagasaki. He has continued to research, publish, and speak out on the long-term effects of nuclear radiation on children and their descendants.
