On Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, speakers will be addressing human rights issues in the Philippines, El Salvador, Mexico and in the U.S. including the harassment of activists leading the Black Lives Matter Movement and the murders of Seattle activists, Silme Domingo and Gene Viernes.
Guest speakers will include Cindy Domingo, the brother of Silme Domingo; Rodiguez Morena and Pablo Hernandez, parents of 2 of the Mexican students from the 2015 Ayotzinapa kidnappings; Vince Warren from the Center for Constitutional Rights, Almudena Bernabeu from the Center for Justice and Accountability, and more.
The conference will be from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at University of Washington Law School (4293 Memorial Way, Seattle, WA).
