The 8th Annual Food Sovereignty Prize will be awarded at Town Hall Seattle to Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa and Farmworkers Association of Florida.

The prize is awarded by the U.S. Food Sovereignty Alliance to frontline organizations transforming our food system by building power and creating real community-led solutions to poverty, hunger and climate change. The U.S. Food Sovereignty Alliance works to end poverty, rebuild local food economies, and assert democratic control over the food system.

Join activists, organizers and community-based organizations from Seattle and throughout the U.S. for a ceremony and reception to honor this year’s winners.

This event is organized by USFSA and hosted by Community Alliance for Global Justice and Community to Community Development.
