Each year since 1946, the Nisei Veterans Committee has held a Memorial Day Service to honor all who have died in service of their country, especially members of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service.

The 71st Annual Nisei Veterans Committee Memorial Day Program will be on Monday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery.

There will be special guest speaker Lieutenant General Stephen R. Lanza, Commanding General, I Corps Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
