A man has died and a woman is seriously injured after the bicycle they were riding together collided with the side of a Metro bus in Seattle’s International District Saturday night.

Seattle fire officials said the 41-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to Harborview but later died, according to police on Sunday. The woman remains seriously injured.

The bike crashed into the side of the Metro coach near 5th Avenue South and South Jackson Street, according to police. A Seattle police drug recognition expert tested the driver of the coach bus and found no signs of impairment.
