Friends of Little Saigon, an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the cultural, economic, and historic vitality of Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood, will be hosting its 6th annual Celebrate Little Saigon Festival on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
“Little Saigon is one of the hidden gems of Seattle and the Celebrate Little Saigon festival is a great event that reminds people of its rich history and community,” said Quynh Pham, CLS Co-Chair.
The 2016 festival will highlight “the delicious and symbolic flavors of Café Sữa Đá,” or Vietnamese iced coffee. The event features Vietnamese street food, a family pavilion with inflatable activities, games, arts and crafts, pho and dessert eating contests, live Vietnamese music (including both traditional and pop music), and an outdoor beer garden for guests 21 years of age or older.
Celebrate Little Saigon is free and open to public. Activities will begin at 1:00pm and conclude at around 7:00pm. The event will be located outside Summit School at 1025 S King Street in Little Saigon, in the block between 10th and 12th Avenues S.
