Tết in Seattle and Health Fair

Saturday and Sunday, January 18 –19, 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St. Seattle, Washington 98109. Admission is free.

Vietnamese Lunar New Year hosted by Tết in Seattle. Explore and experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of Vietnam through live performances, hands-on activities, foods, crafts, games, martial arts and a lively marketplace. There will be tons of activities such as food truck vendors, live-performances, hands-on activities, and family-oriented events for all to enjoy. There will also be a health fair which will offer free screenings and other services.

Wing Luke Museum Lunar New Year Celebration & Fair

Celebrate Lunar New Year with a day full of activities for the whole family! A Lion dance will bless The Wing with their vibrant and energetic spirit from 10 – 10:30 AM. Then take a passport journey through the Museum, create crafts with local artists, learn about the Asian zodiac with their stuffed animal petting zoo, and win prizes and more! Please note new start time.

Traffic may be heavier due to other events in the area so plan accordingly. King Street between 7th and 8th Avenue will be closed from 8 AM – 12 PM.

Asia Pacific Cultural Center’s 22nd Annual New Year Celebration: Featuring Vietnam

Saturday, February 8, Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall, 2727 East D St., Tacoma, WA, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Admission is free.

From the Asian Pacific Cultural Center, this year’s new year celebration features the beautiful island and culture of Vietnam. There will be over 90 booths of cultural arts from many countries, drinks, retail booths, crafts, games, and more. This is fun for the whole family!

Lunar New Year Celebration – Year of the Rat in the CID

Saturday, February 8, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, various locations in Chinatown-International District. Admission is free; $3 for the food walk.

Celebrate the Year of the Rat with lion and dragon dances, cultural performances, and the $3 Food Walk!

Over the last few years, the Lunar New Year Celebration is one of the largest events of its kind in the region and showcases diversity, richness and culture of the Asian community. The collaboration with other neighborhood businesses/organizations has helped draw thousands of visitors from throughout the region for a day of festivities. The celebration includes traditional dragon and lion dances, martial arts and other cultural performances on the Main Stage. Combined with arts, crafts, and a variety of family friendly activities there is something for everyone. Don’t forget the return of the Neighborhood’s Annual $3 Food Walk.

UW Chinese Student Association’s 53rd Annual Lunar New Year Gala

The Chinese Student Association at the University of Washington cordially invites you to attend a night filled with Chinese culture at our 53rd Lunar New Year Gala! Join for delicious food, fun activities, and a spectacular performance lineup as we celebrate this holiday with the UW and greater Seattle community. They will also be raffling off prizes throughout the night so you won’t want to miss out!
