This year’s public safety survey conducted by the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) and InterIm CDA found that many crimes in the neighborhood go unreported because a majority of CID residents don’t call 911.

On August 10, 2016, the survey’s organizers presented their findings and their recommendations to the Seattle City Council.
