On Saturday, Oct. 30, Nikkei Concerns celebrated a milestone — their 35th anniversary, serving the needs of Japanese and Asian American seniors. Nikkei Concerns offers four programs and services to elderly and their families, including: Seattle Keiro, a nursing facility; Nikkei Manor, an assisted-living facility; Kokoro Kai, a senior activity program; and Nikkei Horizons, which offers continuing education for active seniors. The event, at the Seattle Westin Hotel hosted nearly 1,000 guests – the largest API fundraiser in recent memory. A silent and live auction got the evening underway and a Fund-a-Garden activity helped raise funds for a garden project at Seattle Keiro. Congratulations to Nikkei Concerns!
