“A Tribute to Alan Sugiyama” was an event to honor Alan Sugiyama’s contributions to the Asian Pacific American community and that of Seattle. The former executive director of the Center for Career Alternatives (CCA) enjoyed a festive evening with local politicians Mayor Mike McGinn, King County Executive Dow Constantine, Rep. Bob Hasegawa, Rep. Sharon Tomiko-Santos, and King County Assessor Lloyd Hara to name a few. Community leaders participated in the tribute to honor Sugiyama’s support and friendship over the years, including Bob Santos, Teresita Batayola, Maxine Chan, and Vera Ing. Congratulations Al on your more than 30 years of service to the community!
