On July 17 and 18, community members gathered for the Danny Woo Community Garden’s 51st Annual Pig Roast Celebration, organized by InterIm Community Development Association (CDA). Volunteers spent Friday evening and night roasting the pig in traditional Filipino style. The Pig Roast was started by activist Bob Santos in 1975, originally as a celebration of the opening of the Danny Woo Garden.
