On Wednesday, September  14, there will be a sneak peak into the 11th Seattle South Asian Film Festival. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Northwest Film Forum (1515 12th Ave., Seattle, WA 98122). It will include trailers, clips, and shorts with over 15 international filmmakers expected to appear. The theme for this year’s festival is #LoveWins and will showcase stories of romantic love, parental love, love for music, love for mankind, and more. The films take place in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives with a focus on Bangladeshi cinema. Samosas and chai tea will be served. The Seattle South Asian Film Festival will be from Oct. 14 – 23. To RSVP, contact Sara Huey at [email protected].
