The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will be hosting open houses for the community to learn more about Madison Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), which will begin construction in 2018.

Madison Street BRT will serve the Downtown, First Hill, Capitol Hill, Central Area, and Madison Valley neighborhoods. The purpose of these open houses is for the public to provide feedback about the updated design, including roadway and station designs. The open houses will be on:

Wednesday, August 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Seattle University’s Campion Ballroom (914 E. Jefferson St.)

Thursday, August 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Hall (1119 8th Ave.)

Tuesday, August 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Meredith Mathews East Madison YMCA (1700 23rd Ave.)

You can also give feedback online at https://madisonbrt.participate.online/ from August 2-16. Find out more about the project at http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/MadisonBRT.htm.
