The InterIm CDA 2016 Gala will take place on April 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel (2100 Alaskan Way). InterIm CDA will honor a community leader, Tim Otani, with the annual Bob Santos Leadership in Sustainability award.

There will also be a live auction for one-of-a-kind experiences, including a Chinatown-International District tour hosted by Uncle Bob Santos, the “unofficial mayor” of Chinatown/International District, a hot pot dinner for 10 hosted by InterIm CDA Board Member Andrew Liu, and an evening of conversation about International District history and activism co-hosted by Joey Ing, Uncle Bob Santos, Elaine Ikoma Ko, and Sutapa Basu at Joey Ing’s Queen Anne condo featuring a delicious and colorful feast of Filipino, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Vietnamese favorites prepared by the hosts.

Maria Batayola will be the emcee and Fred Northup will be the auctioneer.
