The Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.) Seattle Lodge will hold its 5th Annual Dinner on Saturday, April 30. This annual event showcases the activities of the Seattle Lodge over the past year, announces the local finalists of the C.A.C.A. National Essay Contest for high school students, and honors the winners of this year’s Citizens Award.

Winners of the Citizens Award personify C.A.C.A.’s mission to develop leadership, serve the community, and promote civil rights. This year’s winners are:

• Assunta Ng—Publisher of the Seattle Chinese Post and Northwest Asian Weekly, community activist
• Herb Tsuchiya—Retired pharmacist, actor, and community activist
• Donnie Chin (posthumously)—Community advocate

C.A.C.A. Seattle invites the community to join in honoring the achievements of these special individuals.

Festivities commence at 6:00 p.m. at China Harbor Restaurant. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased online at www.cacaseattle.org. Deadline is April 25.
