A Taste of Home at Tai Tung Restaurant with Hollis Wong-Wear.

Hing Hay Coworks is hosting a food drive in the Chinatown-International District until 12/23 and a kickoff celebration on Saturday, November 12, at Tai Tung Restaurant.

A delicious Thanksgiving meal Asian style is served at Tai Tung Restaurant. It’s not only a favorite dining spot of the late Bruce Lee but also the oldest Chinese restaurant in the ID, opening in 1935!

Between now and December 23rd, please bring the following preferred food items (rice and noodles are staples, while preferred protein and pantry items include canned tuna, salmon, chicken, mackerel, mung/red beans, soy sauce, seaweed and cooking oil.) to Hing Hay Coworks (409 Maynard Ave S, Seattle WA 98105), Eastern Cafe (510 Maynard Ave S, Seattle, WA 98105).

The proceeds from this event will benefit the ACRS Food Bank, which is the only provider in the state that regularly offers foods that meet Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) dietary needs.
