On Saturday, June 4, the 24th annual Beacon Hill Festival will take place at Jefferson Park (3801 Beacon Ave. S) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Festival will feature entertainment by local schools and other performers. There will be local food, carnival games, bounce toys, cotton candy, and more.

People interested in being vendors, contributing to the silent auction, or volunteering, please call Doreen Deaver at 206-684-7481 or email her at [email protected].

In conjunction with the festival, Seattle Parks and Recreation will celebrate the launch of a Troops for Fitness grant, a two-year grant program from The Coca-Cola Foundation and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), which provides hiring opportunities to military veterans to instruct community fitness and nutrition classes through local park and recreation organizations. The grant celebration will take place at Jefferson Park at 11 a.m.
