NAAAP-Seattle Wins National Award

At the 2012 National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) National Convention in New York City this past August, NAAAP-Seattle placed first in the nation for Chapter of the Year along with National Involvement, Membership Development, and Projects & Programs. This is the first-time NAAAP-Seattle has won Chapter of the Year. Judging was based on 2011 activities. NAAAP-Seattle also placed in the Top 3 in five other categories. There are 27 NAAAP chapters and associate chapters nationwide. NAAAP-Seattle is the largest volunteer-run leadership development, professional association serving Asian Americans in the Puget Sound. On average, it organizes three to seven social, professional development, or community service events each month.
