The “Friends of the International Examiner (IE)” are proud to announce a unique fundraising event that connects the community to journalism in a meaningful way.

As the only non-profit pan-Asian American newspaper in the country, the IE strives to give a voice to one of the fastest growing and influential ethnic communities. In addition to providing in-depth coverage of politics, trends and economic and social issues, the IE believes in both connecting to its community and celebrating the accomplishments of local APIs.

“Headlines Come to Life” is a premier event showcasing the people and stories behind our headlines. Artists, musicians, chefs, and businesses will leap off of our pages and demonstrate their talents while interacting with attendees in a vibrant environment

Join the “Friends of the International Examiner” – a committee of community leaders, activists, and business people who care about the vision and development of the most respected and oldest API newspaper in the northwest — in this exciting and unique fundraiser!

Stage Performances by: Seattle Kokon Taiko group, Miho & Diego Marimba Flute Duo, Chiyo Sanada’s Japanese calligraphy, Outshine Productions B-Boys group, PG Boyz hip-hop dance, and more to come!
