- Anti-Asian hate crimes increased by 124 percent in 2021 compared to the year before.
- Nearly half of Asian Americans have experienced an incident tied to their race including 32% who have experienced a physical attack. Eight in 10 Asian Americans say violence against them in the U.S. is increasing.

Thu Nguyen(she/her) serves OCA National (a civil rights organization) as its executive director. A graduate from Rice University with degrees in Chemistry and Sociology.
Kendall Kosai (He/Him) is the director of policy at the Anti-Defamation League, Western Division. Kendall graduated with a BA in political science from UW.
Gisela Perez Kusakawa is the assistant director, Anti-Racial Profiling Project at Asian Americans Advancing Justice. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
