From the Chinatown International District Business Improvement Area:

Dear Chinatown-ID Business Owners and Managers,

We want to announce today, a new CID Restaurants and other Small Businesses Relief Fund – seeded by our neighbors at Vulcan for $100,000, in partnership with the Friends of Little Saigon and SCIDpda. You can find more information and how to donate here: https://scidpda.org/cidbizrelief/. Please also share this with your network.

We recognize that businesses throughout the Chinatown-International District has been tremendously impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent directives from the State has forced many businesses to close, and others remain at risk of shutting down.

This initial contribution will focus on restaurants in the neighborhood, which have been experiencing business loss since January. Additional donations raised by this fund will continue to be distributed directly to small businesses in the CID as we continue to learn the impacts of this situation on our neighborhood. 100% of the seed money from Vulcan and individual donations will go directly to our small businesses.

While the donation page is up right now, there will be more information coming soon about how you can apply and receive funds. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
CIDBIA
