Khoa Pham was born in Seattle, WA on April 21, 1985 to Mr. Augustine Nien Pham and Mrs. Theresa Cat Vu. He was the fourth child and only boy in a family of 5 siblings. His sisters are Uyenvy Pham, Quyenvy Pham, Tuvy Pham and Yenvy Pham.

Khoa grew up in West Seattle and attended Holy Family Parish school until the family moved to Renton when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Renton High School and completed a B.A. in Finance from the university of WA.

After college graduation, Khoa started managing the family restaurant with his parents and sister Quyenvy. In 2 years, Yenvy joined the Pho Bac restaurant business with Khoa and Quyenvy and their parents. Khoa served as the chief financial officer of the Pho Bac Cooperation and was instrumental in the growth of the business in the past 13 years.

Khoa loved everything and everyone and was full of life. He loved animals and had a soft spot for pitbulls. He rescued a lovely white pitbull named pinky. He could talk to anyone from all different ages and from all walks of life. He would sit at coffee shops and strike up conversations with strangers and quickly become friends. He was a wonderful and faithful friend and always made time to be with others and help others. He was devoted to his parents and saw them almost everyday. As a family, all the 5 siblings would often take trips to Europe, Vietnam, and Jerusalem.

In the past few years, Khoa started to become more interested in non-profit community work. He lived in the international district and worked hard to keep it a strong and vibrant community. In the past few months before he died, he was working hard on starting a non-profit to support the API and international district community. Khoa was brilliant, caring, and a visionary. He lived life fully everyday, and we will all miss his smiling face.
