Pride Foundation inspires giving to expand opportunities and advance full equality for LGBTQ people across the Northwest. We’re dedicated to directing resources to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to thrive.

Two ways we do this are though our community grants and scholarship programs. See below for more information about each program, and how to apply:

Community Grants Program

Pride Foundation funds proposed strategies, ideas, and projects that create access for and address barriers facing LGBTQ youth, adults, and families in our five-state region. To apply, organizations must operate within one or more of the Northwest states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and/or Washington and have a 501(c)3 non-profit tax status or have a fiscal sponsor.

We fund general operating expenses, capacity building, projects, programs, strategies, and collaborative efforts. Our community grants application opens in late May, and you can learn more here: http://www.pridefoundation.org/what-we-do/grants/guidelines/.

Scholarship Program

Pride Foundation offers post-secondary degree scholarships to LGBTQ and allied students across the Northwest. The program provides essential financial resources and community support to LGBTQ students—particularly those who are vulnerable and continue to be marginalized. Pride Foundation’s scholarship application opened October 11, 2015 and will close on January 11, 2016.
