Seattle police are looking for a woman believed to have shot and wounded six people at a house in West Seattle’s Highland Park neighborhood this afternoon.

According to police, SWAT officers are searching the house in the 9400 block of 14th Avenue Southwest for the woman. She’s described as a 61-year-old Asian woman who was wearing a white shirt and gray sweatpants. A police dog is also at the scene conducting the search.

Police said that six people have been shot, some of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. Medics are working on one of the wounded in the front yard, police said.

The incident happened about 1:30 p.m.

Additional shots were fired while the medics were at the scene at 1:38 p.m., police said.

According to police, someone in the home called 911 and reported his grandmother was mentally ill and had shot.
