The Japanese Culture & Community Center of WA (JCCCW) is hold its annual Bunka no Hi Japanese Culture Day on November 6, 2016. Bunka no Hi is the premier culture event that celebrate Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage. Performances and cultural demonstrations like taiko, karate demo, music and dancing are performed, while games and information booths from a variety of local vendors and nonprofit organizations can also be found at the event.

While Bunka no Hi is a free event, food is available for purchase. Gourmet Dog Japon,  Sushi Burrito Gaburri, are Hurry Curry of Tokyo will be serving authentic Japanese food at the event and a community bake sale is on site as well.

Moreover, for this year’s Bunka no Hi, the JCCCW is partnering with Muckleshoot Indian Tribe to develop programming to highlight the commonalities of the two cultures!
