SEATTLE – The University of Washington Department of Communication has named 11 alumni to its Alumni Hall of Fame, including Evelyn Keiko Iritani and Lori Lei Matsukawa.

Iritani received her B.A. in 1978 and has been a reporter with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Los Angles Times. She was a Pulitzer Prize winner in 2004.

Matsukawa received her M.A. in 1996 and is an award-winning KING-TV journalist, anchor and community leader.

The Hall of Fame honors alumni who have outstanding careers and public service records.

The department will honor the alumni at its annual Open House this fall.
